DEMERARA GOLD premiered at the 2014 Midtown International Theatre Festival.  It was one of fifty plays selected and the first time a play about Guyana was in the line up. Performances were July 17-July 31, 2014. There were 3 sold out performances and a show was added on August 2, 2014.  Ingrid Griffith was nominated Best Solo Show Performer.
